Bio

Aaliyah Hummel, LAT, ATC, serves as Chesapeake College's assistant athletic trainer and student success coach. She works alongside the Head athletic trainer/assistant athletic director, Kirsten Blake, providing athletic training coverage at practice and games to all of Chesapeake's 6 athletic teams in NJCAA Divisions ll.

She graduated from Clarion University of PA and California University of PA with a dual degree in athletic training in May 2018 Magna Cum Laude. She also played soccer within the NCAA D2 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference at Clarion University. She spent her first 3.5 years post-undergrad as a high school athletic trainer for Easton and Saint Michaels High School on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and last 8 months at neighboring junior college, AACC.

Her hobbies include running, reading, going to the beach and hanging with her friends and family. She is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Saint Michaels, MD with her husband and dog.

Hummel is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Maryland Athletic Trainers' Association.
