Bio

Kirsten Blake, MS, LAT, ATC, was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director/Head Athletic Trainer in July 2022. Blake joined the Chesapeake College athletic department as the Athletic Trainer in July 2020.

Originally from Bridgeville, Delaware, Blake attended Lynchburg College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training. While at Lynchburg, she worked with the men’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s lacrosse, and softball teams, as well as Liberty University’s club ice hockey and wrestling teams.

Blake received her master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training from Indiana University. While in Indiana, she was the athletic trainer at Eastern Greene High School for two years.

Blake is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association,  Maryland Athletic Trainers' Association and Indiana Athletic Trainers' Association.
