Seahawks Tripped Up by Skipjacks

WYE MILLS, Md. - Cecil produced a season low 63 points on offense in a losing effort against the Chesapeake Skipjacks, leading to a 24-point defeat Wednesday evening. 

The Seahawks knocked down just 23 shots for the game, their second lowest total this year. They hit just three of 20 attempts from three and shot barely over 50% from the free throw line (14-for-27). Second chance points were few and far between for Cecil's offense, as they secured just two offensive rebounds for the entire game.

Marlon Lewis led the Seahawks with 15 points, followed by Vernon Simmons with 13. Both players collected five rebounds each.

The loss drops Cecil to 14-12 overall.
