Volleyball Kicks off Road Trip with a W

The Westmoreland County Community College women's volleyball team kicked off a two-game road trip Thursday evening as the travelled to Chesapeake Community College to take on the Skipjacks on night one. 

The match went five sets, with Westmoreland winning 3-2.  Westmoreland won sets one, four, and five (25-17, 25-17, and 15-12).

Emily Shuck led the way for the Wolfpack with 13 kills in the match.  Setter Skyler Durst had 7 assists, and four members of the Wolfpack were in double digit digs on the night.  Sophomore Sarah Fulton had 21 digs, and freshmen Faith Shean had 15, Kylie Price with 13, and Emily Shuck had 12 digs each.

Westmoreland will wrap up the two-day trip Friday night playing Carroll Community College at 6pm.
