The Lynx Break Records in Big Win

The Lynx offense exploded on Tuesday, beating the Chesapeake Skipjacks by a score of 10-0.

Joey Brauer had the best scoring performance in school history, posting a new school record for goals in a game with five. The contest also marked a few career milestones for Brauer, becoming the school leader in career points with 33 and tying the school record for career goals with 16, matching Nikolai Haldorsen. Eric Wojtkowiak also claimed the single game record for assists in the contest with four, adding more prestige to an already incredible day.

Chad Petrick had an excellent performance, posting three goals and three assists. Rishi Kapoor and Chase Fowble also contributed offensively, each being involved in two goals. Sammy León was not tested much this game but still successfully completed the shutout, marking the second of the season.

The win marks their second in their last three contests and makes them 2-2 in the month of September. The Lynx travel to Cecil this Thursday, Sept 15th at 4 PM.
