Carroll Volleyball picked up their first win in program history on Wednesday, sweeping Chesapeake 3-0.

With set scores of 25-17, 25-21, and 25-18, the Lynx were firmly in control throughout the duration of the match.

"It was nice to get our first Carroll Community College Women's Volleyball Win in the books and have the pressure off of us" stated Head Coach Teri Leatherwood. "Both our setters, Abigail Morley and Payton Zepp worked well feeding the ball to our hitters, allowing a strong front line.  Payton Zepp and Maria Acaron led the serving with 15 serves and 2 aces, and 9 serves and 4 aces respectively. A special Kudos to Alma Huffer who played Outside, a position she normally does not play and grabbing her first kill of the season."

Full stats for this contest will be available soon.

The Lynx have a test coming up against the 2-0 Anne Arundel Riverhawks on Wednesday, September 13th at Coppermine Pantherplex.
