- In the first inning, the Skipjacks put one on the board from a SAC fly to start the game off. The Cardinals in the bottom half of the inning scored three runs from two singles and a wild pitch. Cardinals 3-1
- In the second inning, the Skipjacks took the lead by scoring three more runs on two singles and a balk. Skipjacks 4-3
