WYE MILLS, Md. - The Cecil men's soccer team secured its first shutout victory of the 2022 campaign, besting the Chesapeake Skipjacks 4-0 Thursday evening.
Akeil John's brace led the Seahawks offense. Joaquin Saavedra and Jacob Brown tallied one goal each as well. On defense, NJCAA DI saves leader Aidan Hayes made five stops.
Cecil improves to 2-9-1 on the year.
