Catonsville, MD- After beating Anne Arundel on Friday, the Lady Cardinals were looking to beat another conference rival, Chesapeake College. However, they would not be able to pull it off.
After a cold first half, Catonsville managed to bring the game within a few buckets. Despite their strong run, the missed opportunities from the opening half would prove to be the killer.
The Lady Cardinals shot a mere 14.3% in the opening quarter of the contest- a less than ideal star against a strong opponent. They would bring their percentage up to approximately 39, while making 8-35 from the three (22.9%). Cache Waters would be the star of the evening, putting up 25 points while making four three-pointers. Akirra Pullen would put up 20 of her own, while collecting eight rebounds.
Tylea Galloway would once again be the set-up woman, recording nine assists- bringing her to 108 on the season. She is also fourth in MD Juco for assists per-game (6.4).
Catonsville looks to improve upon their record against Garrett College on Saturday, February 1st at 12P.M.
